What Counts as a Safeguarding Concern?

Grooming

An adult building trust to exploit you. Warning signs include special attention, gifts, secret conversations, and pressure for personal information.

Harassment

Unwanted contact that makes you feel uncomfortable, scared, or upset. This includes name-calling, threats, and persistent unwanted messages.

Inappropriate Content

Sharing of sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material, especially involving minors.

Bullying

Repeated hurtful behaviour targeting you for your beliefs, appearance, identity, or background.

How to Stay Safe Online

1

Guard Your Information

Never share your password, home address, school, or phone number with people you don't know in real life.

2

Trust Your Gut

If something feels wrong or uncomfortable, it probably is. Tell a trusted adult immediately.

3

Take Screenshots

If someone is being inappropriate, take a screenshot. This helps us investigate.

4

Block and Report

Use the reporting feature liberally. We review every report, even if you're unsure.

5

Talk to Adults

Have a trusted adult (parent, leader, teacher) who knows you use Godspace.

6

Use Strong Passwords

Unique, complex passwords keep your account secure. Don't share them.
